Educator Survey: Ocean Literacy Education in Aotearoa New Zealand

Purpose: This survey is designed to understand educators’ awareness, confidence, resource use, and support needs in relation to ocean literacy education in the Aotearoa New Zealand context. It includes questions about the Marine Stewardship Council ocean literacy directory, the UN Ocean Literacy Principles, New Zealand-based ocean education resources, and experiential learning outside the classroom.

Estimated completion time: 10–15 minutes. Responses may be used to identify gaps, opportunities, and priorities for improving ocean literacy education resources and support for educators.
